Discover this fantastic San Jose neighborhood pool and the best summer destination for the entire family. The pool on Capewood Lane features the largest swimming pool in the Northwood Park area, an amazing kiddie pool for our youngest guests, and three complete barbecue areas for parties and family get-togethers. There’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the sun, or relax in the shade.

It’s everything you could want in a community pool and it’s in your neighborhood!

Pool Features

Our beautiful neighborhood pool offers the following:

  • Large swimming pool, 3 feet at the shallow end and 9 feet at the deep end, with a diving board
  • Shallow kiddie pool for children, 1 1/2 feet deep
  • Men’s and women’s restrooms with showers
  • Wooden gazebo and pergolas
  • Picnic tables
  • Lawn chairs and chaises located around the pool with optional umbrellas
  • Soda machine
  • BBQ grills with propane available for $5 fee
  • Beautiful shaded areas provided by large trees

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the pool schedule?

The pool opens each year during the weekend of Memorial Day in May and closes in September.  During this open season, the pool is open 7 days a week from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.

What is the pool fee?

Residents who fall in the Northwood Park Improvement Association No. 3 pay an annual HOA for access to the pool. Outside membership is granted by lottery and with a fee of $500 for the year.

Are guests allowed in the pool?

Yes, active pool members are allowed to bring guests with them to the pool. Please note that members are responsible for their guest’s behavior and guests are not allowed to be at the pool without a member. Managed daycare children may not be brought to the pool.

Can I bring my pet to the pool?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed within the pool area.

Is alcohol allowed?

Beer or wine is permitted by those over 21 years of age and any drinking must be in moderation. Please note that glass containers are strictly prohibited, regardless of beverage type. 

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the pool area.
