NPIA #3   POOL SAFETY RULES

Pool Hours are 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Parents are responsible for their own children and guests. Anyone under the age of 15 must always be accompanied by an adult member. Swim at your own risk.

  1. Members and guests must sign in at each visit.
  2. Do not allow anyone who is not a member into the pool area unless they are your guest. NEVER LOAN YOUR KEY. All keys have numbers so they can be tracked.
  3. Members are responsible for their guest’s behavior. Guest may not be at the pool without member. Managed daycare children may not be brought to the pool.
  4. Members with toddlers MUST designate a baby-toddler watcher. Be always vigilant. Do not turn you back with young children in the water. Please only use specific swimming wear, NO DIAPERS, for children who are not toilet trained. This will cause pool closure. Do not go into the bathroom and leave young children unattended in the pool.
  5. Shower before entering the pool in your swimsuit. Regular clothes may not be worn in pool, but light-colored T-shirts over a swimsuit may be worn as sun protection. Please conserve water by turning off the shower after use.
  6. Long hair (touching shoulders) must be secured with bands or a swimming cap.
  7. Protect your personal items. NPIA #3 is not responsible for any loss or stolen items.
  8. No running, rough play, or fighting on pool grounds.
  9. No animals are allowed on pool grounds.
  10. Gum or sunflower seeds are not allowed on pool grounds.
  11. NO GLASS WITHIN THE POOL GROUNDS. This means no glass bottles, serving containers, or any items made of glass. Aluminum cans or plastic bottles are acceptable.
  12. No swearing or obscene language is allowed. Please be polite & courteous.
  13. Water safety: ADULTS ARE IN CHARGE, LISTEN TO THEM
    • Soft pool toys and beach balls are allowed at board member’s discretion based on pool capacity and safety. Tennis balls or other hard items are not allowed.
    • Children wearing flotation devices may only swim in shallow water and must always be accompanied by an adult in the water.
    • Unacceptable behavior in the water is not permitted: riding on shoulders, drinking, shoving, flipping, or throwing of another person. These behaviors are not safe and could result in injury. Stay OFF lifeguard towers, don’t abuse pool equipment. SAFETY FIRST!
  1. Use of beer or wine (not in glass) by those over 21 years old must be in moderation. Designated gate guards must not drink alcohol. Abuse of alcohol will not be tolerated.

Your key may be confiscated and possible loss of privileges if rules are violated. The pool board reserves the right to refuse or rescind membership for violation of pool rules. NO REFUNDS. IT’S YOUR POOL, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF IT.

Please note: There is a $75.00 fee for replacing a lost key.
